The singer raised the concern in a post on X, urging those involved in the music industry to embrace love and respect instead of encouraging hatred and unnecessary conflicts.
“One day all this beef that y’all are promoting will cause the loss of lives in this Nigerian music industry,” Skales wrote.
“Please y’all better stop before it’s too late. Love is cheaper than hate, so is respect,” he added.
Skales also opened up about some of the challenges he has faced throughout his career, claiming that he was betrayed and lied about by people he believed were on the same team with him.
According to him, some individuals changed their narratives about him after gaining more attention and attempted to undermine his achievements.
“In this industry I was betrayed, lied upon, called a jealous person. People that I thought we were on the same team told many lies about me because they got the spotlight and sold different agendas,” he said.
Despite the experiences, Skales said he has remained relevant nearly two decades into his career, crediting God and his mother for helping him overcome difficult periods.
His comments come amid continued public rivalries and exchanges among Nigerian artistes, which have increasingly spilled onto social media and attracted attention from fans.
